HP’s PPSC organization is responsible for the procurement of the components to build our Printing products, ranging from metal to electronic or plastic components. Our goal is to bring components with the best quality and cost to deliver the best value to our customers while making a positive impact to our communities and environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a “universal” kit (hardware & software) for computer vision parts quality inspection.
• Help integrating the vision system with existing manufacturing processes.
• Test and validate the system to ensure reliable performance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize the solution.
• Document the development process and provide regular updates.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and talented student to join our team and contribute to a cutting-edge project aimed at checking parts quality using artificial vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and industrializing the project, ensuring it meets our high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Industrial, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering.
• Programming skills in Python and Yolo libraries, C++ or a similar language.
• Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or similar will be a plus.
• Knowledge of machine learning and image processing techniques will be a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work from our Sant Cugat del Valles office (with Flexible schedule).

• Fluent in English.
