Job Description

This Senior X++ Developer role at Microsoft involves building and maintaining Dynamics 365 Finance, Project Operations, and Human Resources services. Responsibilities include driving feature development focusing on technical direction, quality, usability, and performance; participating in live site operations; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years with X++ and F&O development. Strong skills in object-oriented programming, database concepts, and microservice architecture are essential. The role demands expertise in debugging, design, testing, and problem-solving, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Advanced Sciences or equivalent alternative education, skills and/or practical experience

8+ years of professional software development experience
4+ years X++ and FnO Development

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Strong technical skills including understanding of object-oriented programming & design, algorithms, database concepts & performance, no-sql technologies and microservice architecture

Demonstrable coding, debugging, design, testing and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-haves:

Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other enterprise resource and planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) software experience

Knowledge of microservices principles

C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL experience
