Job Description

As a Senior ML Developer at Epic Games, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining various systems within Twinmotion to improve user experience, focusing on visualization features for architecture, product, and automotive markets. This involves creating AI/ML-based solutions to enhance rendering quality and optimize workflows. You will develop prototypes, deliver production-ready solutions, collaborate with other AI/ML teams, and write robust, maintainable code. The role requires expertise in Python, AI/ML, and ideally C++, familiarity with development tools, APIs, and desktop application finalization (Windows and macOS). Experience with rendering APIs and C++ game engines is a plus. This position is available in multiple locations across Canada and Europe (excluding British Columbia).

Must have:

Excellent Python programming skills
Excellent AI/ML knowledge
Experience with AI/ML in real-time applications
C++ development skills
Experience finalizing desktop applications (Windows and macOS)
Strong communication skills

Good to have:

Experience using the latest generation of rendering APIs
Professional experience with a C++ game engine

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining various systems within Twinmotion to improve user experience. We are looking for someone who will help us improve our visualization features for the architecture, product, and automotive markets. The ideal candidate is a senior AI/ML developer with experience in real-time applications and customer-focused.

In this role, you will

Use and develop AI/ML-based technical solutions to improve the rendering quality and optimize workflows for users in various industries
Develop prototypes and make production-ready solutions that will simplify our users’ daily work
Work with other AI/ML teams at Epic and make the bridge between them and the Twinmotion team. Write robust, maintainable code

What we're looking for

Excellent Python programming skills
Excellent AI/ML knowledge
Familiarity with C++, development tools and profiling
Knowledge of or experience using compilation pipelines, development tools, platform programming interfaces (APIs), and, more broadly, macOS and Windows ecosystems
Experience in finalizing desktop applications (Windows and macOS), particularly in terms of compatibility
Ability to interact with different developers in a geographically distributed team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience using the latest generation of rendering programming interfaces (APIs) is a plus
Professional experience with a C++ game engine is a plus

This role is open to multiple locations across Canada and Europe (excluding British Columbia).
