(Senior) Data Analyst (f/m/d)

To fulfill our mission of bringing people together to have a good time with games, we are looking for a Data Analyst *. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our reporting infrastructure and provide valuable data insights that empower different stakeholders across the organization. Your analytical expertise will help us to understand our players even better and to improve their gaming experience.

Your Tasks

• Conceptualize, continuously enhance, and maintain our reporting infrastructure (using Google BigQuery and MS Power BI)
• Optimize existing and establish new data processes to boost efficiency
• Develop innovative concepts for dashboard automation to improve reporting efficiency
• Implement reporting requests, including data modeling, visualization, and presentation
• Generate compelling Power BI reports to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Handle ad hoc analysis requests from different teams (such as Marketing and Product)
• Design new data requirements for our Data Engineering team, assist with their implementation and partner with other data teams (including BI, Data Science) to develop your solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (including Marketing, CRM and Product) to gather requirements, analyze their needs, and translate them into actionable data analysis tasks

What we expect

• Successfully completed studies in mathematics, business informatics, business administration, or comparable (ideally with a focus on data analytics)
• At least three years of relevant professional experience in Data Analysis (e.g., as a data analyst, business analyst, product analyst, marketing analyst, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• Sound knowledge of SQL for extracting and transforming data from our DWH
• Exceptional organizational skills and a very systematic/structured approach
• Very good data visualization expertise
• Good understanding of data modeling and technical contexts
• Fluent knowledge of the English language and excellent communication skills (both with technical and business teams)

Ideally, you should bring along

• Experience with mobile attribution and/or CRM tools (e.g., Adjust, Braze, etc.)
• Knowledge of statistics
• Experience with A/B testing and other test methods
• Curiosity and initiative in terms of new trends in the world of data & analytics
• Enjoy working in agile and interdisciplinary teams
• Affinity for the games industry
