The Data Science Manager position reports to the Data & Analytics Director and is focused on applying advanced analytics for identifying trends, events and behaviors in music consumption.

The candidate will be in charge of creating tools, studies and experiments from large volumes of data to produce insights and recommendations to the commercial and marketing teams. The key responsibilities will be:

How You'll Create:

  • Identify data sources and extract knowledge through exploratory data analysis and statistical modelling based on large volumes of data.

  • Explore data using APIs or web scraping from digital platforms and social networks to power and scale analytical products.

  • Design the infrastructure and models to create tools with advanced metrics in real time.

  • Work independently to develop business presentations and communicate it with compelling narratives to different audiences.

  • Solve specific business questions based on data, approximations and/or probabilities.

  • Interact with business managers, IT and data scientists to obtain internal data and/or solve problems.

Bring Your Vibe:

  • BA in data science, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering or alike.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the entertainment/music business.

  • Fluent Spanish proficiency; speak, read, and write

  • Proficient with SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, R, Java, HTML/CSS,  etc.)

  • Experience utilizing one or more visualization tools (Looker, Domo, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Critical and creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent written presentation and communication skills.
