SAP BTP Consultant (US Citizen or Permanent Resident req)

Description

• 3-6 years of SAP experience.
• At least 3 years of SAP BTP experience.

• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of working experience as a developer using JAVA, .NET, or similar programming languages.
• Strong programming skills in JAVA, with a solid understanding of OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA, SAP Integration Suite is a plus.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SAP HANA, MySQL) and ability to write complex SQL queries.

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of SAP BTP applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and maintain high-quality code in JAVA, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support system integration and data migration activities between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and user training to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices related to SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Aptitude for working in a team environment; problem-solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
• Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and to client personnel.
