Summary

The Sales and Distribution Manager will be responsible for securing sales volume (retail and wholesale), implementing sales policies and standards, and managing the sales team. Key responsibilities include forecasting sales, supporting retail and wholesale sales, controlling stock, managing dealer performance, providing reports on sales processes and results, identifying sales goals, and providing training opportunities. The role requires participation in appraisal processes, cross-functional projects, and budget management. This position involves managing the sales pipeline, implementing sales strategies, and managing the sales budget, in addition to providing training to dealers. A strong sales background (3+ years) and fluency in English and the local language are essential.

Overall objectives to be achieved:

  • Secure Sales volume, retail and wholesale
  • Implementation of sales policies and standards

Reporting lines:

  • Direct manager: Country Manager, NMUKR
  • Manager’s manager: DVP S&M, NE

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Control the execution of tasks on sales volumes and market share
  • Make forecasts on sales volumes
  • Assure, support, implement retail sales
  • Assure, support, implement wholesales
  • Provide execution of planned figures concerning profit
  • Provide stock control
  • Control dealer performance for sales volumes, CVS level and standards implementation
  • Consistent upgrade of Distributor sales related operations – Dealer business relations concerning Sales process
  • Provide various reports on Sales process and results
  • Organize the work of Sales Department
  • Identify Sales Goals
  • Provide Training Opportunities. It's likely that training Sales managers lead a sales team by providing guidance, training and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data
  • Manage the Sales Pipeline
  • Implement a cohesive sales strategy that drives business revenues
  • Manage the Sales Budget.
  • Document customer interactions

General:

  • Taking part in Appraisal processes
  • Taking part in cross-functional projects
  • Following the budget of Sales
  • Re-forecast, BP and mid-term planning activities

Additional tasks and responsibilities (including team management if any):

  • Taking part in Dealer training process as a trainer

Required background, experience and education:

  • Sales background
  • 3 years of experience in Sales
  • University degree

Skills, abilities and languages:

  • English fluent + local language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, open-minded personality
  • Strongly business & result orientation

KPIs:

  • Retail sales volume, wholesale volume, market share, dealer overdue absence, long-term stock vehicles absence, etc.
