Role

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to prospective and existing clients.

Location

This role is a full-time hybrid.

Location: Offices based in Liverpool City Centre and Wyboston, commutable to either office.

Responsibilities 

      • Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits, and competitive advantages of Universally Speaking services.
      • Identify prospective customers and individual organizations to focus on sales activities.
      • Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, and trade shows.
      • In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
      • Promote and educate clients regarding Universally Speaking service streams.
      • Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Project teams and Senior Management.
      • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures and working model, alongside Heads of Services.
      • Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service.
      • Deliver outstanding presentations and meetings with clients to create engagement and map and clarify client needs.
      • Be a key contributor to multi-service bids and proposals working with Sales and Service Line Leads.
      • Update Pipedrive to maintain accurate customer insight and feedback.
      • Perform other special projects or duties when required.

Requirements

      • Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
      • High level of communication skills in English (written and spoken). 
      • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
      • Motivated with a proactive attitude.
      • Results-driven, ability to work independently and take ownership.
      • Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculations.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
      • Experience in Strategic Business Development and/or Client Services/Account Management as a long-term career path.
      • Previous Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience preferably in the Gaming Industry or similar.
      • Most importantly, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
      • Experience of working under Non-Disclosure Agreements and understanding the impact of the confidentiality involved.
