Reporting Analyst

Job Description

Miniclip has grown substantially over the last few years; not just in terms of revenues and headcount, but also in complexity as the company has combined organic growth with M&A activity. To support our ambitious growth strategy, we are defining a new structure for Commercial Finance in which the Financial Analyst will support all Studio reporting and analysis to bring our analytical support to the next level.

Reporting to the Senior Reporting & Analytics Manager, this role offers exposure to senior management, including Finance Director and the Chief Financial Officer, as well as key studio stakeholders. You will be providing vital reporting and financial analysis within our Commercial Finance reporting “centre of excellence”, ultimately helping to influence the company’s ability to make decisions to further its strategic goals. What will you be doing at Miniclip?

This role will require you to use your strong reporting and technical skills to compile data from various systems to generate financial and trade performance reports, and provide accurate and insightful financial analysis for key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage, update and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in the financial system
• Refresh, maintain, and enhance reporting packs for the Commercial Finance Team and the wider business
• Assist in creating the presentation deck for quarterly Board review meetingsAssist the Commercial Finance team with all processes and reporting to deliver the annual Budget and quarterly Rolling Forecasts
• Support continuous improvement of systems, processes, and activities
• Produce monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance and financial reporting for Tencent
• Work together with other teams to help create accurate and efficient reporting from various data sources
• Develop and maintain new reports and dashboards as required by stakeholders
• Support on ad hoc reporting and analysis for the wider Finance team as requested

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in financial reporting and analysis roles.

Desirable skills and experience include:

• 1-2 years’ practical experience in detailed financial reporting and analysis
• Strong Excel, Power Query and PowerPoint skills; proficiency in Power BI is a strong advantage
• Experience with Dynamics365 Finance & Operations is preferable, but not essential
• Strong quantitative skills, including data manipulation, data analysis
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability quickly to grasp the "big picture" and exhibit judgment in drawing conclusions and solving problems
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and assist other team members
• Desirable, but not essential to be studying for a financial qualification to enhance their financial and business knowledge
