The Retail Store Supervisor is based in the Phoenix area and will be responsible for supporting the management and operational aspects of the Funko brand retail store operations located in Buckeye, Arizona. Key areas of focus for this role include floor management, payroll, scheduling, cash administration, merchandising and inventory management. The Store Supervisor will deliver exceptional results while providing the highest standard of customer service and “retail-tainment” under the supervision of the Retail Store Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Lead excellent customer service through in-the-moment coaching, role modeling, and utilizing customer feedback to reinforce and improve quality of service
- In partnership with the Retail Store Manager, manage inventory, including receiving, stocking and conducting inventory counts
- Monitor assets through accurate inventory management procedures
- Maintain visual and merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness
- Protect store assets, facilities, and team members by ensuring all team members’ adherence to operational guidelines and standards, compliance with all safety and security policies, the proper functioning and maintenance of store equipment, and performance of all financial transactions
- Manage customer escalations quickly and effectively to positive resolution. Know when to bring in additional resources
- Perform labor forecasting; ensure sufficient floor coverage; scheduling staff as needed for daily, peek and seasonal events
- Process payroll for team members; reviewing all timekeeping records for all employees
- Ensure all relevant information is communicated to store teams daily
- In partnership with the Retail Store Manager, recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a talent pipeline to achieve current and future business and customer service goals
- Develop sales associates to assume increased levels of responsibility
- Assess performance and provide on-going feedback, check-in’s and development plans
- Maintain presence through effective floor management and ensure staff coverage in all areas of the store
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure ongoing safety training and awareness
- Exemplify and ensure associates comply with all Company policies and procedures

- Three or more year’s work experience in retail sales leadership or combination of knowledge, skills and experience

- Extraordinary customer service, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem resolution skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; evenings, weekends and holidays is required
- Technical proficiency with POS payment services
- Consistently demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the brand
Salary Information
The base hourly pay rate for this position in the selected city is $18.39 - $24.52. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
