Job Description

Tesla is seeking a motivated Recruiter for a 6-month contract in Melbourne. This role involves high-volume recruiting (managing up to 20 roles concurrently), partnering with hiring managers to define talent needs, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, employing diverse sourcing techniques, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The focus will be on technical roles within the Energy business and various positions (Body Repair Technicians, Painters, Estimators, Warehouse workers) in the Motors business. Weekly progress reporting is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of end-to-end recruiting experience, proven sourcing and assessment skills, strong relationship management abilities, and familiarity with employment legislation and market trends.

Must have:

2+ years end-to-end recruiting experience
High-volume recruiting (up to 20 roles)
Excellent sourcing and assessment skills
Strong relationship management
Proficient in offer negotiation
Knowledge of employment legislation

This role is based in Melbourne, in our Cremorne office.

This position will likely be focused on supporting our Energy business with technical hiring requirements and our Motors Business with Body Repair Technicians, Painters, Estimators and high volume recruitment of Warehouse workers.

What You’ll Do

High volume recruiting managing an average of up to 20 roles at a time, reporting on progress weekly
Partnering with hiring managers to assess their talent requirements
Conducting phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills and attitude to be successful in the Tesla environment
Scheduling interviews and maintaining system accuracy
Using a variety of sourcing techniques and creativity to discover and attract the best passive talent
Focusing on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 2 years end to end recruiting experience, from either an inhouse or agency environment
Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing talent, skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends
Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment
