Scope:
The Agile Coach will be responsible for removing impediments and blockers that prevent the team from achieving their goals, as well as working closely with the product owner to ensure the product backlog is properly prioritized, refined, and maintained.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions, drive team performance, and facilitate discussions. Additionally, the Agile Coach will possess strong soft skills, including empathy, emotional intelligence, and adaptability, and will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also have strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues that impact team performance and project outcomes.
The Agile Coach will also be responsible for managing and leading Agile teams, including developing and motivating team members to achieve high performance. What you'll do:
Facilitates agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coaches and guides teams on agile principles and practices and ensures adherence to the Scrum framework.
Acts as a servant-leader to the team, and fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
Helps remove impediments and blockers that prevent the team from achieving their goals.
Works closely with the product owner to ensure the product backlog is properly prioritized, refined, and maintained.
Helps the team to estimate and plan sprints, and tracks and reports progress to stakeholders.
Identifies and communicates team performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
Acts as a change agent to continuously improve team processes and procedures and recommends changes to the organization as needed.
Helps team members develop their skills and abilities and fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Ensures transparency and open communication among team members, stakeholders, and the organization.
Helps resolve conflicts within the team and with external parties and facilitates problem-solving and decision-making.
Manages multiple agile teams and ensures alignment of goals and objectives with the organization's overall strategy.
Develops and implements agile frameworks, standards, and best practices, and ensures compliance with these standards.
Conducts agile training sessions and workshops for team members and other stakeholders.
Collaborates with other agile coaches and Scrum Masters to continuously improve the organization's agile practices and capabilities.
Participates in agile communities of practice to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and shares knowledge and experience with other agile professionals.
What we are looking for:
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an Agile environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, influence decisions, and drive team performance.
Ability to coach and mentor team members and other stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues that impact team performance and project outcomes.
Expertise in Agile tools and techniques, such as Jira, Scrum boards, and Kanban boards.
Experience managing and leading Agile teams, including developing and motivating team members to achieve high performance.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment.
Ability to develop and implement Agile frameworks, standards, and best practices that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
Ability to identify and manage project risks and impediments to ensure project success.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive project outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid models.
Familiarity with Lean principles and practices, such as value stream mapping, Kaizen, and waste reduction.
Experience conducting Agile training sessions and workshops for team members and other stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
