Summary

  • Excellent problem-solving & communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 30+ WPM typing speed

Provides telephone and email support of all facets of the claim life-cycle in a contact center environment for Nissan Security+Plus, Infiniti Elite, Mitsubishi Diamond Care and QualityGuard+Plus vehicle service contracts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Adjudicate claims; Verify contract coverage and eligibility to NESNA policies, ascertain parts and labor charges, provide preapprovals, facilitate third-party and TechCam inspections, secure vendor parts, and  ensure optimal part warranty coverage throughout policy.

  • Perform appropriate research with available tools to adjudicate claims, provide assistance to service contract policy holders & repair facilities, and approve claims according to NESNA policy & procedure.

  • Leverage mechanical acumen & resources to provide proper labor and parts repair approvals.

  • Conduct transactions according to NESNA policies & procedures to ensure proper use of Company funds.

  • Ensure repair claims are completed in a timely manner; Facilitate third party obligations to completion; Follow-up to achieve commitments.

  • Document all claims and communications in appropriate systems.

  • Achieve claims management & quality KPIs as assigned.

  • Promote positive work environment within a large team.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of automotive technical experience, preferably within a dealership or manufacturer environment

  • Education: Relevant degree or equivalent automotive technical training is preferred.

  • Language: Advanced or Proficiency English

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Mechanical Acumen: Strong understanding of automotive mechanics, demonstrated by certifications such as Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

  • Problem Solving: Strong decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and other PC applications.

  • Typing Skills: Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
