Middle Manual QA Engineer (#2437)

N-iX is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the BA team and developers to understand requirements and identify areas of testing.
• Participate in test plan creation, test case design, and continuous improvement of the automation testing process.
• Verify acceptance criteria and enrich them
• Execute testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications is working properly.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Perform test data preparation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance.
• Gather testing metrics

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2+ years of overall QA experience
• Web UI testing, proxying, modifying request data
• Relational DBs knowledge (PK, FK, Normalization, relations, JOINs, sub-selects, aggregate functions)
• API testing (REST, Postman, Swagger)
• Debugging (Chrome dev tools, Proxying tools, Extensions)
• Experience with TestRail (Test Run, Test Plan, references, traceability, Test Case structure)
• Test design techniques (specification-based)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• At least an Intermediate strong level of English
• Ukrainian language Advanced or higher
