As a Media Activation Specialist II (English, German), you will be responsible for the search advertising strategy for clients across the entire business cycle. You will lead search quality with the Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams through pitching and activating products to lead performance. You will also act as an advisor and consultant across functions, Global teams, and with client advocates within Google. This role requires fluent communication in English and German to support client relationship management in the region. Key responsibilities include applying knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools to offer solutions for client business issues, diving into client business objectives and working with them to lead the conversation on a strategy to drive performance and the right investment, working with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short- and long-term account growth, driving conversations on measurement and attribution of Search or Video media, and managing a book of business, working across the business cycle with in-country teams.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions
  • 1 year of experience working in customer relationship development, account management, media consulting, or a similar role
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting or media specific industry
  • Ability to take ownership of accounts, deliverables, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to process large data sets and identify patterns of significance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • 1 year of experience working in customer relationship development, account management, media consulting, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools to offer solutions for our clients business issues.
  • Dive the client’s business objectives and work with them to lead the conversation on a strategy to drive performance and the right investment.
  • Work with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short- and long-term account growth.
  • Drive conversations on measurement and attribution (along with the Measurement and Attribution specialists) of Search or Video media.
  • Manage a book of business, working across the business cycle with in-country teams (e.g.,plan, pitch, implement, and optimize).
