We’re looking to hire a Market Research Manager (Consumer Insights) for a Fortune 500 technology client. Company culture fosters a collaborative and respectful environment where innovation is encouraged.  

You’ll join the Marketing team to design and execute comprehensive research projects to uncover customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. This is a 12 – month contract + extension. The team is located in Cupertino, CA, and the role is on-site Monday – Thursday.
 
Market Research Manager (Consumer Insights) Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with cross functional teams to identify critical business challenges.
  • Drive end-to-end research projects, including planning, vendor management, questionnaire design, data analysis, and presentation of findings.
  • Apply sophisticated analytical techniques to uncover actionable insights and recommend innovative research approaches.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within our user base.
  • Clearly communicate findings to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for product development, marketing, and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure customer insights are integrated into product development and go-to-market strategies.
Market Research Manager (Consumer Insights) Requirements: 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer insights or market research within a consumer technology or media company, ideally in a global role.
  • Strong analytical abilities, intellectual curiosity, and a track record in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Ability to clearly convey research findings to diverse audiences, translating complex analytical results into actionable business insights.
  • Experience with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher), a broad range of research methodologies (e.g., cross-tabulations, maxDiff, segmentation, conjoint, predictive analytics), and familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., Python, R, SPSS, Stata, SAS).
  • Experience conducting research projects specifically targeting developer audiences is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, management, statistics, economics, market research, or human behavior is preferred.

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
