Job Description

This is a remote, full-time Market Research and Sales Internship at Viga Entertainment Technology Private Limited. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive market research in the mechanical engineering industry, identifying trends and competitors, analyzing data from various sources (company websites, LinkedIn, industry publications), deriving actionable insights, creating reports and presentations, reaching out to potential clients, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a basic understanding of mechanical engineering, strong research and analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This internship offers hands-on experience in market research and sales, exposure to the sales cycle, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Job Details

This is a remote position.

  1. Market Research:
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the mechanical engineering industry.
    • Use advanced search techniques and keyword optimization to gather relevant data online.
    • Analyze data from various sources, such as company websites, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), industry publications, and reports.
    • Identify and derive actionable insights, such as partnerships, collaborations, or sales opportunities.
  2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Consolidate research findings into well-structured reports or presentations.
    • Suggest market opportunities and strategies based on logical data interpretation.
  3. Client Outreach:
    • Reach out to potential clients identified during research to assess their interest in our solutions.
    • Professionally communicate the offering and schedule follow-ups with technical experts when required.
    • Maintain a log of interactions and feedback for further analysis.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure accurate communication of product features and benefits.
    • Share market insights to help refine strategies and offerings.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Preferred: A degree or ongoing education in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
    • A basic understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and technologies is required (need not be an expert).
  • Research Skills:
    • Proficient in using search engines effectively and leveraging advanced search techniques.
    • Familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn, industry databases, and online publications.
  • Analytical Thinking:
    • Ability to interpret data logically and identify trends or opportunities.
    • Experience in deriving insights from unstructured data is a plus.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Confidence in initiating and conducting professional conversations with potential clients.
