Job Description

This remote opportunity invites you to join the gaming industry as an LQA Game Tester with Thai language expertise. Your key responsibilities include identifying and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities in game content. You will also evaluate the game's tone, style, audio, text, and cultural correctness. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating reports in Jira. Your testing scope will encompass various platforms, including PC, mobile devices, VR, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. This is a casual contract position with a day shift of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Must have:

Perfect knowledge of Thai (C2 level)
Very good English (C1 level)
Good technical and MS Office skills
Passionate about gaming
Curiosity for new games

Good to have:

Experience in game testing
Translation experience
Linguistic game testing experience

Description

We invite YOU to our new REMOTE project! Join the gaming industry and test the games from your home!

You will be responsible for:

Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
Creating reports in Jira. You will be working on a range of testing platforms, including PC, mobile devices, VR, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles and more.

Requirements

Perfect knowledge of Thai (C2 is minimum).
Very good level of English (C1 level is minimum)
Good technical and MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Teams).
Passionate about gaming and a curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus.
