- Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.
Scope:
- We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to extend the Blue Yonder Platform's identity, access, and API management services . This team, globally distributed across Mexico and India, designs, develops and operates critical services that provide a home to all Blue Yonder APIs and offer central management for all customer identities and permissions.

- Core responsibilities to include Architecting and designing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) a ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in Order management and micro- fulfillment.
Our current technical environment:
- Software: Java, Springboot, GIT, Rest API, OAuth
- Application Architecture: Microservices architecture & Build REST API’s
- Exposure to Cloud Architecture: MS Azure, Application gateway, Event Hub, Azure AD
- Identity and Access management: Azure B2C, Azure AD
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain architectural assets, investigate new technologies, and validate approaches by building PoC/Spikes.
- Define solution architecture that meets business requirements
- Communicate architectural direction using perspectives and levels appropriate for the audience and stage of development.
- Facilitate design sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define solution architecture to detail that the teams can implement.
- Collaboratively refine requirements for clarity, completeness, and potential gaps while highlighting risks and opportunities.
What we are looking for:
- 8 + years of experience in Core Java
- Deep understanding of Non-Function Requirements or Systemic Qualities and architectural approaches.
- Knowledge of Architectural, Integration, Application, Software design patterns.
- Experience developing software in Java, Python, or similar language.
- Strong understanding of various IoT communication protocols, characteristics, and uses (Ex. TCP, UDP, AMQP, MQTT, WebSocket, HTTP).
- Experience with high volume systems – high volume communication, millions of connected endpoints, IoT scale.
- Experience with hybrid cloud systems ( Azure or AWS).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices for architecture and development.
- Agile Experience in a DevOps environment.
- Knowledge of certificate-based access control/authentication for devices.
