Lead Software Developer – Supply Chain Systems

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer with a passion for Supply Chain Systems. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven ability to mentor development teams, work in Agile environments, and collaborate with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals. 

Technical Leadership:

• Lead design, development, and optimization of Supply Chain Systems (e.g., BlueYonder, BluJay, Llamasoft).
• Provide architectural oversight and technical direction to ensure best practices in design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Stay current with supply chain technologies, driving innovation within the team.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Mentor and coach developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide continuous feedback to ensure code quality.
• Guide developers in their career growth and understanding of supply chain systems.

Agile Development:

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Ensure development tasks are scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are aligned with business needs.

Supply Chain Systems Expertise:

• Design and implement software solutions that improve supply chain efficiency.
• Apply best practices in demand planning, transportation, and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, and IT teams to align technical and business solutions.

Business Collaboration:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Ensure alignment of supply chain systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM).

Project Management & Strategic Planning:

• Lead project planning and prioritization to meet business objectives.
• Identify risks in software development and propose solutions.
• Continuously improve development processes for efficiency and scalability.

Integration & Automation:

• Lead integration of supply chain systems with ERPs, CRMs, and WMS to streamline operations.
• Implement automation strategies to enhance supply chain performance.

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Expertise in supply chain systems (e.g., BlueYonder, BluJay, Llamasoft).
• Strong Agile experience and leadership in development teams.
• Proven ability to mentor developers and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of databases, system integration, and supply chain processes.

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and microservices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience with optimization algorithms in supply chain.
• Knowledge of ERP systems integration.
