Job Description

As a Lead Development Representative Intern at Barracuda, you'll play a crucial role in fueling the sales team by generating high-quality leads and driving growth in the SME and midmarket sectors. Responsibilities include engaging with existing customer leads, making outbound calls, qualifying leads by understanding their needs, conducting thorough research using tools like ZoomInfo and Salesforce, maintaining detailed records, collaborating with Account Executives, and consistently meeting lead and call targets. The role requires strong communication, a positive attitude, and familiarity with Salesforce. This is an on-site internship based in Campbell, CA.

Are you driven by achieving targets and energize working in a high-paced sales environment? Barracuda is looking for a Lead Development Representative to fuel our new sales team by delivering high-quality leads and driving growth in our Small Medium Enterprise (SME) and Midmarket sectors. In this role, you'll engage with prospective customers to build Barracuda’s customer base through strategic outreach and qualifying inbound leads from various channels, including marketing campaigns, web inquiries, and events.

 
What you'll be working on

Promptly engage with install base leads generated through existing customer accounts, service interactions, and product usage data.
Make outbound calls to connect with potential customers.
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining fit within our product offerings.
Conduct thorough research on leads using tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other online resources.
Maintain detailed records of lead interactions and progress in Salesforce.
Collaborate with Account Executives to set up qualified appointments.
Consistently achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead and call targets.

What you bring to the role

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High energy and a positive attitude.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com and shared Outlook calendars is advantageous.
Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills.
Adaptability in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour in Campbell, CA. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's education level, job type, and applicable employment laws.
