Reporting to the People Operations Manager (based in Lisbon), a Junior People Operations Partner will be responsible for providing timely and accurate Operations services for several countries to Miniclippers and the wider People team. The role comprises both administrative and advisory duties and is often the first point of contact for employees with the People team.

The contribution of this role is essential to ensuring that employees feel that they work for a professional and well-managed employer who is fair, diligent, and attentive

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

New employees

  • Assisting People Operations Partners to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for employees. You will deal with contracts, right to work checks and liaising with IT and Workplace Services set up for the employees first day at work.

  • Assisting relocated employees in getting settled, working close with our relocation partners.

  • Providing operational support to employees for ad hoc requests and routine requests.

  • Assisting employees with any queries regarding employment, benefits, partnerships or absence management.

  • Liaising with benefits providers to process new joiners’ memberships and other changes such as scheme leavers.

  • Performing administrative tasks:

    • Control of employee contract dates and renewals;

    • Update and maintenance of employee files, both physical and in HRIS;

    • Provide any documents / employment confirmation requested by employees;

  • Working in partnership with the People Business Partners and line Managers to manage the administrative aspects of employee termination.

  • Acting as a key point of contact for former employees who may have questions or requests (e.g. for references) post termination.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in human resources or business management

  • Fluent written and spoken English required;

  • Minimum 1 year experience;

  • Ability to multi-task;

  • Excel basic skills;

  • Positive attitude when communicating with people;

  • Collaborative and good team player;

  • Organized and structured mind;

  • Energy and initiative to come up with good ideas and make sure those are executed if approved;
