Job Description

Zones LLC seeks a Junior Copywriter to create engaging marketing content across various channels. Responsibilities include developing copy for campaigns, websites, emails, and social media; collaborating with designers and other teams; editing and proofreading; ensuring brand consistency; and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and knowledge of SEO principles. Leadership experience is also desired, as the role involves leading a team of copywriters. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content. The role requires close collaboration with multiple teams to align projects with company goals.

Position Overview:

We seek a skilled Jr. Copywriter to join our marketing team. As a Jr. Copywriter, you will craft compelling and engaging copy for various marketing channels and campaigns. You will also lead a team of copywriters, ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality-driven, and aligned with our company's messaging, tone and voice, and company goals. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of creating impactful copy, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do as the Jr. Copywriter:

Conceptualize and develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, emails, social media, corporate collateral, and other channels.
Collaborate closely with designers, Integrated Marketing, Website team, and other teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives.
Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand voice and tone adherence.
Understand and follow AP Style Guides for copy consistency and adherence.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing. Knowledge of the IT technology industry is a bonus.
Conduct research and interviews to understand customer needs and market trends.
Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to adapt writing style to various tones, voices, and platforms.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.
