The role requires defining medium-term brand strategies, developing communication campaigns, analyzing market data, managing budgets, selecting product lines, and building relationships with external partners. This position demands strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fluency in Polish and English.

Job Description

Mattel Poland is currently seeking for a passionate Associate Brand Manager for our office in Warsaw, who is eager to learn and develop himself or herself in a multinational and challenging environment.

Do you want to be part of it? 

As an Associate Brand Manager, you will play a key role in the Brand Activation team, driving the execution of marketing strategies for the Vehicles toy brands, including Matchbox and Cars, at the local level. This role involves ensuring the effective, creative, and efficient implementation of category strategies and marketing plans by collaborating with agencies, visual merchandising teams, and sales teams, while also identifying opportunities to optimize content and retail engagements. 

You will work in close partnership with the Regional Brand team and local Marketing teams to support brand activation initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with European strategies and priorities, and tailoring these initiatives to the local market as needed. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute actively to defining the medium-term strategy and establishing business objectives for the brand. 
  • Collaborate in shaping the brand’s positioning and developing comprehensive communication campaigns with broad reach. 
  • Formulate actionable recommendations and implement initiatives informed by market data, trend analysis, and consumer research. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and provide insights to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Define and manage the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources. 
  • Select product lines by channel and customer, manage product information, and oversee the validation of translations and localization of creative assets. 
  • Take responsibility for pricing, forecasting, and adherence to regional guidelines and quotas in partnership with the Sales team. 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners, including advertising agencies, media houses, and production studios. 
  • Promote effective communication and foster close collaboration with internal departments to achieve shared objectives. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, brand management or a related role 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights. 
  • Proficiency in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns. 
  • Budget management experience with an understanding of cost efficiency. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to contribute fresh ideas to the brand. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with marketing tools is a plus. 
  • Fluent in Polish and advanced knowledge of English (min. B2)
