A leading bank in Singapore is seeking experienced Java Microservices Developers to work on a blockchain platform for security and asset tokenization. Responsibilities include designing and developing microservices using Java technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining microservices architecture documentation, debugging and providing production support, implementing CI/CD processes, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of hands-on Java development and microservices experience, strong Java coding skills, experience with Spring Boot, cloud platforms (preferably OpenShift), and relational databases (preferably Postgres).
Must have:
  • 4-7 years Java development & Microservices experience
  • Strong Java coding skills (Java 11 and above)
  • Spring Boot microservices & design patterns
  • Cloud experience (OpenShift preferred)

  • MQ experience
Good to have:

Project description

A Leading bank of Singapore is embarking on a journey on Tokenization of Securities and various asset. needed strong Java Microservices developer integrators to work on Blockchain platform and its integration layers.

Responsibilities

Design and develop microservices using Java related technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new products and improve the existing systems in our microservices architecture

Develop and maintain documentation of the microservices architecture, including design patterns, best practices and coding standards.

Debug, troubleshoot and provide production support for microservices based applications

Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure quality and efficiency in the development cycle.

Mentor and guide junior developers on microservices architecture, design patterns and best practices.

Skills

Must have

4 -7 years of hands-on experience in Java development and Microservices

Strong hands-on Java coding experience

Well versed in Java foundation

Strong knowledge on Java 11 and above

Working experience in Spring boot microservices and design patterns

Cloud experience (preferably OpenShift)

MQ

Relational database (preferably Postgres, any RDBMS)

Should be strong in all the core skills mentioned in resume

Nice to have

Kafka

Experience in react

Banking/Investment Banking domain experience
