Financial Controls Manager (6 Month initial contract)

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for driving financial excellence? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise in financial controls can make a real impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are seeking three Financial Controls Managers to join our team on an initial 6-month contract. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our financial operations are robust, compliant, and aligned with best practices.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and enhance financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
• Drive process improvements to optimise efficiency, accuracy, and control in financial reporting.
• Provide expert guidance on financial control matters, supporting senior management in decision-making.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of financial data and controls.

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrate strong skills in data analytics, process mapping, project management, auditing and internal control programmes
• Hold a business-improvement mindset
• Experience in coaching and educating stakeholders
• IT general controls experience preferred
• A strong understanding of financial statements and identifying risk
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and conflict resolution skills
• Can operate within a fast-paced, changeable environment
