Autodesk is looking for an Implementation Consultant (PDM/PLM) - a team player who will work directly with our main Customers to design customized and configured solutions for product data management systems. This is an exciting opportunity within our Enterprise Customer Success Organization transforming our customers’ business. You will work directly with Customers to understand their needs as they relate to revision control, item master approach, and BOM structure. Based on that understanding, you will define and implement an overall approach that uses Autodesk PDM/PLM products. 

We support hybrid or remote working, and you will report to the Senior Manager, Professional Services Consulting.

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with customers and colleagues in all phases of PDM/PLM projects (from business development, analysis, design to implementation)

  • You will implement solutions for global Customers from the Automotive and Design & Manufacturing business using the capability of Autodesk applications

  • You will produce written documentation of solutions and implementation activities

  • You will build trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience of activities, and tools associated with document and information flow in the Design & Manufacturing industry

  • In depth working knowledge of PDM/PLM (Autodesk Vault, Fusion Manage or similar)

  • Knowledge of company and industry best practices and their rationale

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a multinational ecosystem

  • Excellent English language skills and ideally fluency in an additional European language

  • You will travel occasionally to meet with customers on-site

Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • Firsthand experience of tools, techniques, and practices for analyzing the purpose and scope of a product, a process, or project regarding cost and benefits

  • Understand and work with CAD tools

  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain related challenges and processes (BOM, ERP)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in architecture, engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
