Job Description

Tesla seeks an HR Operations Payroll Specialist in London to join its growing HR team. Responsibilities include timely data collection for payroll, transmission to external vendors, maintaining employee records, processing payments, coordinating with stakeholders, generating reports, and improving processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in HR/Payroll, ideally with HRIS and E-Ticketing systems knowledge. The successful candidate will manage relationships with HR teams, ensuring accurate and timely payments across UK, Ireland, Turkey and the Middle East. They will also maintain work instructions and FAQs for employee self-service.

Must have:

Experience in HR and/or Payroll input preparation
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Good to have:

Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing systems

What You’ll Do

Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors
Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records
Process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments
Independently coordinate and liaise with our internal stakeholders and/or external parties (as required)
Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
Manage relationships with wider HR-teams to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements
Responsible for maintaining current work instructions and FAQs to support employees to self-serve

What You’ll Bring

Experience in HR and/or Payroll input preparation
Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment against deadlines
Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
English language skills; both written and spoken
