Job Summary
This position is a Global Services Portfolio Readiness Manager in the HP Workforce Solutions Portfolio Enablement & Operations organization.
This role is part of the Services Product Setup organization and is responsible for enabling New Service Introductions for transactional and contractual routes to market globally to achieve the objectives of the HP WS business and support our customers and partners. This team also leads or is involved in services-related projects after launch, such as extensions, expansions or improvements to offerings or related processes, systems/tools, infrastructure, and/or documentation. The role represents services within product or solution portfolio core teams, incorporating service requirements into various product/solution development stages, and analyzing business performance to identify areas for improvement. The role collaborates globally to implement innovative services and solutions and influences customer projects. The role also participates in complex cross-functional initiatives, solves challenging problems, and leads moderate to high complexity projects.
Responsibilities
• Engages in the planning of product support or solution portfolios throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment with pricing strategies, seamless end-to-end service delivery, and readiness for sales, along with their associated processes.
• Represents services within product or solution portfolio core teams and incorporates service requirements into various product development stages
• Utilizes understanding of customer business requirements to develop business case, validate the solution, and demonstrate services added value.
• Set-up Services that meet or exceed customer expectations (offers, deliverables, modifiers); Modify existing Services per business requests.
• Plan and execute the introduction and release of the service SKU's ensuring that a support offering is available at service launch.
• Continually drives innovation through process automation and simplification.
• Analyzes the portfolio, identifies opportunities, and formulates recommendations and solutions to drive enhancements in portfolio performance.
• Collaborates across regions, geographies, and global teams to assist in the implementation of innovative services, solutions, or programs and their associated processes to address evolving customer and market demands while promoting profitable growth.
• Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives.
• Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope.
• Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower level employees .
Education & Experience Recommended
• Business or technical Bachelor's degree, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

• Medium to high knowledge of IT and services industry.
• Knowledge of company organization and policies, HPWS services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
• Problem detection and analysis of root cause.
• Ability to influence different functions, geographies, and the ability to build strong consensus.
• Leadership skills required to succeed in a fast moving, matrix environment
