As a Game Product Manager on Teamfight Tactics, you will drive player value, satisfaction, and business outcomes by delivering engaging content, optimizing in and around the game experiences, and making data-informed decisions that keep our game thriving.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the monetization philosophy at Riot and Teamfight Tactics’ historical monetization to ensure player-centric monetization strategies are developed
- Create a strategy for Rotating Shop, Treasure Realms, and Evergreen store offers and use tooling to implement the offers for players
- Deep understanding of different player segments and motivations for the target player types to create the right offers for each
- Define the target audience and expected impact for new distribution designs
- Create experimentation framework + targets; monitor and optimize offers over time.
- Monitor strategies and tactics other games are using and evaluate if they make sense for Teamfight Tactics to adopt
- Partner with the team to build a project roadmap with alignment from stakeholders, define the work needed for each project and deliver impactful features and improvements to the store ecosystem
- Collaborate with multi-team, cross-time-zone ecosystem of development partners to ensure Teamfight Tactics needs are prioritized, delivered, and providing value to the game
- Strong data and analytical skills - be able to work in lockstep with insights to define the right metrics and questions, wireframe out analysis, and understand beyond the surface-level metrics for performance. Utilize purchase, and player journey data, surveys, and player labs
- Collaborate with publishing partners to ensure players are getting a cohesive experience and we’re promoting the right content from both a player and Riot perspective
- Become a trusted source of truth for the operations part of our content promotion
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of product management or related work experience
- Excellent teamwork, team leadership, and communication
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Broad understanding of operational and product challenges
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience playing Teamfight Tactics and/or other titles in the autobattler genre, and have a deep understanding of the genre and monetization systems
- Experience working with data, pulling needed metrics, and running ad-hoc analysis
