Our team is looking for an awesome Finishing Producer with an in-depth knowledge of the Trailer Finishing (and digital intermediate) process for digital and broadcast executions. This includes, but is not limited to, a working knowledge of basic color management, resolutions, aspect ratios, audio production and output, capture mediums, graphics, visual effects, and the editorial process.

You must have excellent communication skills and constantly follow-up with Producers and book sessions with Creative Directors to review assets that are in Finish. You must also know the ins and outs of Editorial/Assistant Editorial workflows and can navigate your way through video assets from ideation to final exports as you have invented your own processes for success.

Your experience includes, but is not limited to, creating finishing preps for picture and audio, overcutting picture, baking-in inbound and outbound mixes for review, Picture and Mix EDLS, AAFs, and OMFs, Time-Code Burn-ins, and Changes- Only finishing preps and can coach teams in the complexities of every stage.

Please note this full-time position requires on-site/in-office work in Woodland Hills, California.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage Finishing team members.
  • Day-to-day communications and collaborations with in-house Producers, Creative Directors, Game Capture Directors, Editors (Senior, Junior, and Assistant), and Artists.
  • Detailed confirmation and in-house approval of trailer conforms.
  • Scheduling of in-house resources to meet client deadlines with Producers.
  • Excel shot lists and shot research (and overcutting [Adobe Premiere]). Requires familiarity with video game picture fidelity, visual functionality, and overall quality.
  • Management and coordination of in-house and out-of-house resources, including, but not limited to, project deliverables database, working files consolidation, fonts, project completion hard drives. Flexibility and acclimation to client requested versions and cutdowns.
  • Management of Graphic, Design, and VFX Artists for execution of ESRB and Legal fixes.
  • Supervision of in-house and client reviews and notes.
  • Liaison with Mix and Sound facilities.
  • Creation and movement of encodes for Conform Check, Audio, Client Review, and Delivery.
  • Management of incoming and outgoing media and data deliveries.
  • Management of Studio Deliverable Requirements and checking client received technical specs in creation and delivery.

What you will need:

  • 2+ Years of Trailer Production delivery experience is a must.
  • 2+ Years of Lead Assistant Editor and/or Assistant Editor experience required.
  • 2+ Years of Finishing experience is a must.

You are proficient in and constantly expanding on the following:

Adobe Creative Suite

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere
  • Knowledge of AVID and Final Cut Pro for potential project transfers
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Adobe After Effects
