DevOps Engineer

Quantinium is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-native, decentralized infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, container orchestration, automation, and CI/CD best practices, with a preference for experience in Web3 and blockchain infrastructure. Our stack includes Rust, Go, Avalanche, React, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP. Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS/GCP services (EKS, RDS, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, SNS, etc.).
Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud-based applications.
Automate and optimize infrastructure deployments using CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, ELK stack, or similar tools.
Support production environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and lead on-call rotations for critical system incidents.
Collaborate with blockchain and Web3 engineering teams to support on-chain infrastructure and decentralized applications.
Enhance infrastructure security through network security best practices, IAM configurations, and compliance automation.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices.
Support multi-region deployments and implement scalable, resilient architectures.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE roles.
Expertise in AWS and GCP cloud environments with hands-on experience in Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).
Strong experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, and Go.
Familiarity with Rust and Go-based infrastructure is a plus.
Experience working with distributed systems, partitioning, clustering, and load balancing.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, Scylla, Redis, Neo4j.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).
Deep understanding of GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
Experience securing cloud environments with IAM, VPNs, TLS encryption, and penetration testing methodologies.
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments, ideally in Web3, blockchain, or telecom industries.

Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
Google Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
Experience with Rust, Go, Avalanche, Subnets, and other blockchain infrastructure.
Understanding of edge computing, decentralized storage, and networking protocols.

This role is fully remote unless you live within fifty (50) miles of Boca Raton, Florida. If you are local, we ask you come in three (3) times a week to our office.
