As a Depot Implementation Specialist CAC in Bogotá, Colombia, you will lead and manage the successful implementation of depot projects, ranging from small to large scale, from the initial opportunity stage through to full operational launch. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to execute projects efficiently, ensuring seamless communication, detailed planning, and precise execution. Your role will encompass resource management, financial tracking, and regular project status updates to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
 

1. Project Organization and Planning

• Develop a comprehensive Project Charter, capturing the specific needs of both internal stakeholders and customers, in alignment with signed-off solutions.
• Lead on-site setup and establish essential operational processes before the Go-Live date. This includes depot solution setup, WMS, TMS, WCS, business requirements, procurement, testing, recruitment, vendor management, and operational KPI tracking.
• Formalize the project team structure and work closely with Project Sponsors to ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
• Facilitate Project Steering Committee meetings to support critical decision-making and address any escalations.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans that incorporate all systemic, operational, and customer requirements, driving tasks to meet both company and customer expectations.
   

2. Project Execution & Communication

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively engaging with decision-makers and task owners to maintain project momentum and avoid delays.
• Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address open issues, and update risk logs with project team members.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle, issuing weekly status reports to all stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project scope, manage change approvals, and track financial budgets to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct project post-mortem reviews and ensure a smooth handover to Operations upon project completion.
• Utilize Maersk's Project Implementation methodology, toolkits, and templates for transparency in Global Metrics reporting and performance measurement.
• Act as a company ambassador, maintaining a positive image with customers, vendors, and external stakeholders, and building strong rapport with all parties involved.
• Provide feedback and share best practices with regional and global teams to enhance future implementation processes and tools.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management experience.
• Proven leadership abilities, capable of inspiring respect, trust, and mobilizing teams to achieve project goals.
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to operate independently.
• Solid understanding of Contract Logistics and Depot Operations, with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• PMP certification or similar project management training is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Word. #LI-MP1
