As a Customer Success Manager at PlaytestCloud, you'll manage a portfolio of key gaming industry clients, focusing on adoption, retention, and upselling. Responsibilities include generating pricing quotes, negotiating renewals, mastering the PlaytestCloud platform to provide customer insights, managing onboarding, identifying product gaps, driving cross-functional initiatives for improved customer experience, and employing effective pricing strategies. You will build strong relationships, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and exceed expectations. Success involves achieving target renewal, retention, and upsell rates. The role requires executive-level business reviews, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication skills across various channels (phone, email, video conferencing, and occasional on-site visits).
Must have:
  • 2+ years managing high-value customer relationships in SaaS/tech
  • Proven success in renewal, retention, and upsell targets
  • Near-native English, executive business reviews
  • Proactive, innovative approach to user adoption and churn mitigation
  • Excellent communication (phone, email, video conferencing)
  • Comfortable with on-site customer visits and travel to conferences

THE ROLE

We’re seeking an experienced and ambitious Customer Success Manager (f/m/d) to serve as a trusted resource for our key customers and partners in the gaming industry. Your role involves cultivating strong, effective relationships with valued customers and optimizing their lifetime value within your designated portfolio. This includes delivering an exceptional customer experience by leveraging the full potential of our products and exceeding customer expectations in terms of outcomes, results, and value. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in negotiating renewals and identifying upsell opportunities to further enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

πŸš€ Own and manage a strategic customer portfolio, focusing on enhancing adoption and strengthening retention across your business accounts within the gaming industry.

πŸš€ Generate pricing quotes and negotiate renewals, add-ons, and upsell opportunities to prevent churn and secure optimal terms

πŸš€ Master the PlaytestCloud platform to provide customers with valuable insights and help them achieve desired outcomes

πŸš€ Manage the customer onboarding process, including account configuration, training, and change management activities

πŸš€ Identify product/process gaps and proactively suggest solutions during customer discovery opportunities

πŸš€ Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve the overall customer experience and increase satisfaction and loyalty

πŸš€ Employ pricing strategies in line with company standards, policies, and procedures

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE

Mandatory:

βœ… Experienced professional with 2+ years managing high-value customer relationships, demonstrating a proven ability to drive alignment within complex customer environments at both executive and departmental levels within a SaaS/tech company.

βœ… Prior success achieving and/or surpassing target renewal, retention & upsell rates on a consistent basis

βœ… You have (near) native spoken and written English skills. German is not required for the role, any additional languages are a plus

βœ… You are comfortable with preparing and delivering formal executive business reviews (EBR) to senior-level executives, with a focus on project-specific milestones and customer health

βœ… You are a proactive team player who has fresh ideas when it comes to user adoption and churn mitigation

βœ… You can build rapport with customers via phone, email and video conferencing

βœ… You are comfortable with visiting customers and clients on-site and traveling to conferences from time to time

βœ… You are located within Β±2 hours of the Europe/Berlin time zone (CET)
