CRM Email Marketing Developer (Hubspot)

We’re looking to hire a CRM Email Marketing Developer (contract/freealance) for our client who is the world’s largest online travel site,  

You’ll join the Digital Marketing Team to create and code email templates from scratch. Weekly email volume fluctuates. Experience working at an agency or large company preferred..

• This is a 12 month project + extension (possible convert to perm) opportunity.
• The role or team is located in Boston, MA and is fully remote in Eastern Timezone

Responsibilities: 

• Engaged in a weekly agile sprint cycle collaborating with B2B CRM Operations and Engineering teams.
• Developed mobile-responsive HTML/CSS email templates (Hubspot) and constructed audience segmentation logic based on furnished design comps and specifications.
• Assessed template code to ensure proper rendering and compatibility across a broad array of email clients and devices.
• Contribute to the development of the Customer Lifecycle Management framework within the marketing automation tool.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to integrate data into novel marketing templates.
• Liaised with Marketing and Operations teams to gather campaign requirements.
• Author technical specifications, conducted testing, and execute email programs according to Operations team priorities.
• Assist the CRM team with testing CRM programs.

• 1-2 years of demonstrable experience crafting email-specific HTML & CSS, with the ability to code from scratch.
• Extensive knowledge of scripting languages for achieving complex dynamic content, particularly Jinja, with the ability to adapt to other languages.
• Working understanding of email client rendering intricacies, including limitations of platforms like Outlook and the ability to support dark mode (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise email service providers, with a focus on B2B environments being a positive factor.
• Proven track record in a Hubspot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) role within a dynamic online environment.
• Experience working collaboratively with Technology teams to drive technical initiatives.
• Solid understanding of information architecture, including proficiency in relational database concepts.
• Experience utilizing Agile methodology.

• Proficiency in basic SQL for generating reports (preferred).
