Netflix is seeking a Coordinator, Legal Delivery EMEA to join their team. This role will involve coordinating the management and dissemination of contracts, legal documentation, and information related to original and branded content across EMEA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in production and/or contract administration within a media environment. Responsibilities include coordinating legal delivery across various EMEA territories, assessing contractual obligations, assisting in developing new workflows, and serving as a point person for both external and internal partners.
Must have:
  • 3+ years' production and/or contract administration experience in media
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical capabilities and judgement
  • Tech-savvy with experience in cloud-based document and database systems
  • Proactive and reliable with the ability to work under tight timeframes
Good to have:
  • European language skills
  • Experience with legal marketing, finance, and intellectual property

The Role

We are looking for a media industry professional to join the Legal Delivery team.  The successful candidate will work across all EMEA content, supporting both owned and licensed productions and will have an array of responsibilities within their role.

The Legal Delivery team at Netflix is responsible for coordinating the management and dissemination of a high volume of contracts, legal documentation and information related to our original and branded content. Internally, the team is highly cross-functional and deeply engaged with stakeholders, including marketing legal, business and legal affairs, production, post production, intellectual property and rights management . Externally, our team works closely with region-wide content producers and  licensors to ensure required  documentation is successfully delivered to Netflix.  Role can be located in Paris or London.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years’ production and/or contract administration, working within a broadcasting/studio/ media environment or production office. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment interacting with external partners, internal cross functional teams  (e.g., Production, Finance, Legal Marketing, Finance), and third party vendors. 

  • Tech-savvy individual with a strong sense of how cloud-based document and database systems are used in a modern business environment. 

  • Strong analytical capabilities and judgement with ability to work proactively and reliably under tight timeframes, thinking practically and solution-oriented.

  • Willingness to tackle matters outside your area of expertise.

  • Comfortable with fluidity and iteration, and open to change and new ideas

  • A commitment to embrace and advocate for is essential.

  • European language skills preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate legal delivery in all content types across various EMEA territories. 

  • Ensure deliverables are received timely, accurately and compliant with Netflix requirements

  • Assess and understand contractual obligations at a title level and adjust delivery requirements accordingly.

  • Assist in new innovations and developments to build stronger, faster workflows and efficient solutions for the Legal Delivery function. 

  • Serve as an outward facing representative to external production partners to communicate delivery requirements on a project-by-project basis

  • Serve as a point person to internal partners and align with stakeholders to meet cross-functional needs
