Job Description

The Cloud Program Manager II at Google Cloud Professional Services will engage with customers and partners to deliver, design, build, and advise on Google Cloud transitions. Responsibilities include program management of large-scale projects (planning, delivery assurance, risk mitigation), defining governance models, managing risks and issues, influencing stakeholders, and organizing project requirements into actionable goals. The role requires expertise in program management, cloud migrations, and digital transformation, working with internal and external teams to achieve program objectives. This involves supporting customers from pre-sales through to execution of Google Cloud transformation programs.

Must have:

6+ years program management experience
Enterprise digital transformation project delivery
Cloud migration & multi-cloud transformation expertise
Stakeholder management & risk mitigation
Program planning & execution

Good to have:

MBA or Master's in CS
Cross-functional team experience
Channel partner collaboration
Quantitative analysis for decision-making
Knowledge of cloud marketplace

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in program management, client services or management consulting.
Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to customers (e.g., cloud migrations or multi-cloud transformations across data warehousing and analytics, application development, or cybersecurity solutions).
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
Experience leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making and prioritization.
Knowledge of the broader Cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.
Ability to learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud and IT technology space.

You will specialize in the program management, governance, and orchestration of large-scale cloud transformations. This will involve supporting customers and internal teams from pre-sales through delivery and execution of Google Cloud and customer transformation programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Drive the program management of multi-functional, large-scale Google Cloud Professional Services projects, covering program planning, delivery assurance and verification, tracking and reporting, and risk and mitigation planning.
Define the overall governance model for the account and establish a cadence to manage the ongoing delivery of the plan.
Manage the risks, issues, and actions for the accounts and regularly track them to meet the expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.
Influence stakeholders, drive the quality delivered by internal and external partner teams and project resources, and provide program leadership aligned to the program objectives.
Take various project requirements and organize them into clear goals and objectives, and break down large projects and processes into sub-projects and sub-processes that could be executed by other teams or partners.
