The Anthology Field Sales Operations team works closely with multiple internal customers (Sales, Finance, SFDC, Contracts, Legal and Marketing) to ensure that our sales team operates efficiently and effectively. The Business Operations Manager (BOM) has a first focus supporting their VP and regional sales team and then work on WW projects that drive increased productivity in our sales force. The BOM would be responsible for analyzing key sales KPIs to identify sales productivity trends/patterns to support performance management and inform decision making.

 

The Business Operations Manager will be supporting the LAC Vice President and Sales team and will work collaboratively with their Field Sales Operations colleagues.

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the VP in LAC with programs and special projects including annual planning activities, platform sales analysis, sales rep level performance, etc.
  • Acting as point of escalation for the Sales Reps back to our cross-functional teams (Business Operations, Customer Care team, Finance, Marketing, Legal, etc.)
  • Providing necessary data analysis to support marketing and sales campaigns, territory planning, and whitespace analysis
  • Leading forecasting activities at sales rep level for the LAC region (participate in pipeline calls as necessary to help inform more accurate forecasting)
  • Complex Deal Support – helping Reps to outline the process from initial pricing all the way through contracts and delivery for deals and tenders above $250K or any strategic deals
  • Liaising with SFDC/CRM/OTR team for international requirements and territory set-up
  • Monthly reconciliation of sales and renewal actuals
  • Playing a key role in building Monthly Business Review (MBR) data and slides for monthly reviews to the Executive team
  • Serving as international representative on internal teams/committees to assist with new processes, system, and program rollouts
  • This role requires 10% travel

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in finance, sales operations, or sales compensation, ideally working for a global organization dealing with large, complex system designs, implementations, and integrations
  • Excellent organizational skills and short- and long-term planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with budget management, forecasting sales and expenses
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage projects
  • Strong analytical, data mapping, Power Point, and excel skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, report/dashboard development
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
  • Ability to work flexible hours to provide time zone support
