Job Description

This remote Automation Tester position at ZAZZ requires 7-8 years of QA experience with a focus on automation. Responsibilities include manual testing, bug tracking (using ticketing systems like Jira), developing test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and automating tasks using Windows scripting (PowerShell, batch scripts) and Selenium. The role involves reactivating and enhancing an existing Selenium project. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum is preferred.

Must have:

7-8 years QA Automation experience
Proficient in ticketing systems (Jira etc.)
Manual test plan creation & execution
Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
Windows scripting (PowerShell, batch)
Selenium web automation experience

Good to have:

Agile/Scrum experience
CI/CD pipeline experience
Experience with other automation tools

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.

2.Work within a ticket-based process to report, track, and resolve bugs efficiently.

3.Develop, update, and maintain manual test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing is aligned with project goals.

5.Troubleshoot and solve problems effectively, ensuring attention to detail in identifying root causes of issues.

6. Utilize Windows scripting to automate basic manual steps in the QA process, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.

7. Leverage Selenium for web testing automation to replace manual testing steps with efficient automated workflows. Familiarity with Selenium is highly preferred, and we have an existing Selenium project that you will help reactivate and enhance.
