Job Description

This is a 3.5-year apprenticeship in Mechatronics (Maintenance) based in Prüm. The program offers hands-on experience in a modern facility with an experienced training team. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing machinery, reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, assembling and disassembling components, setting up electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls, monitoring processes, performing quality checks, and commissioning equipment. The apprenticeship guarantees strong integration into daily maintenance operations within a high-tech manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will receive above-average compensation, including 13 monthly salaries, 30 days of annual leave, and company participation.

Must have:

Realschule degree with good grades in Physics, Math, and English
Structured, independent work style with adaptability and teamwork
Technical skills, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
Basic understanding of electronics and technical-physical interest

What You’ll Do

Überprüfen und Reparieren unseres Maschinenparks sowie Lesen, Verstehen und Anwenden von technischen Zeichnungen und Schaltplänen.
Montage und Demontage von Komponenten komplexer Maschinen und Anlagen, einschließlich der Integration empfindlicher Technologien wie Lichtschranken
Einrichten elektrischer, pneumatischer und hydraulischer Steuerungen.
Überwachen von Prozessen, Durchführen von Qualitätskontrollen und Funktionstests sowie anschließende Inbetriebnahme der Anlagen.
