Summary

The Video Production Assistant at Verve Label Group will support video production and post-production workflows. Responsibilities include managing video content (scheduling, tracking, delivery, archiving), working with the UMG video production team, managing assets in UMG systems, shooting and editing short-form content (BTS, interviews, performances), organizing label events, executing special projects, and assisting with campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of experience in video production, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere) and DSLR equipment is a plus.

How we LEAD: 

Verve Label Group is currently looking for a Video Production Assistant to support the label. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the music/entertainment field in a supporting role and be able to multi-task and prioritize. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and to juggle multiple critical requests in a high - pressure environment is crucial. The ideal candidate has experience with filming and editing short form content. No task is too small and no challenge too great. A “can-do” attitude is essential.

How you’ll CREATE:

  • Act as a point of contact related to video production and post-production workflows
  • Assist with the management of video content including scheduling, tracking, delivery and archiving of assets
  • Work with in-house UMG video production team
  • Manage video assets in our UMG proprietary systems
  • Can shoot and edit various pieces of content including Behind the Scenes, interview, live performance, etc.
  • Help organize label events including showcases, listening events etc
  • Execute special projects and assist with project campaigns and content capture
  • Additional duties as assigned

Bring your VIBE:

  • 1-2 years of video production experience
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Able to work in a very fast and energetic environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
  • Deep interest and excitement for the current roster and enjoy seeing live music
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Mac or PC experience (proficiency in MS Word & Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to use Canon DSLR and associated equipment and lenses
  • Must have working knowledge of video file formats (Apple Pro Res, H.264, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or video editing software a plus.
