Job Description

The Analyst, EMEA Affiliate Billing will support the Order to Cash (O2C) workstream, managing customer accounts, ensuring contract adherence, providing collection updates, and improving working capital. Responsibilities include recording billing transactions, reviewing contracts, aligning with sales teams, performing monthly billing and reconciliations, handling journal entries, and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. The role also involves reconciliation of accounts, managing billing disputes, and testing SAP and S4 system changes. Experience in O2C with billing for APAC/Europe or US customers in SSC/BPO is required.

The Job 

This position exists to support the Order to Cash (O2C) workstream of Warner Bros. Discovery WBD Advertising, Affiliate and TV Distribution, Direct-to-Consumer Subscription, Theatrical and several other account receivable balances. This person will have overall responsibility for performing O2C functions involved in maintaining customer accounts, ensuring adherence to contracts, providing updates on the collection process, and improving working capital. 

The Daily 

  • Recording of all transactions of customer billing and revenue in books of accounts.  

  • Review of customer contracts for billing along with master data preparation 

  • Alignment with different sales team at other locations for the upcoming/ existing customers 

  • Monthly Billing & Revenue along with reconciliations  

  • Accounting knowledge of AR Accounting 

  • Periodic reconciliations for WHT, customer balances, VAT as per local laws 

  • Handling Journal Entries Creation and Booking, Balance account reconciliations, Month End Close Activities, Bank Reconciliations, SOX Compliances 

  • Ensuring procedures, policies and regulations are correctly followed and complied with. 

  • Track and drive Internal controls check and compliances for better accuracy and efficiency of data. 

  • Test new implementations and changes to the SAP and S4 system environment   

  • Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits 

  • Monitor and reconcile all over age accounts with Billing Disputes 

The Essentials 

  • Commerce Graduate with MBA or CA Inter with 4 - 5 years of O2C experience with experience of Billing for APAC / Europe or US based customers for SSC/BPO. 

  • Experience in S4, Peoplesoft Financials and SAP is preferred 

  • Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred 

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint) 

  • Should have a complete understanding of the OTC process  

  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work independently, creatively and efficiently 

  • Proven track record in meeting deadlines 

  • Open to UK and US Shift timezones
