Acoustics Lead
Overview of Role
Liquid Robotics is seeking an Acoustics Lead to join our team in the development of autonomous-ocean-robot-based, persistent, sensing solutions. This position will be responsible for developing technical solutions to complex acoustic sensing problems that require ingenuity and creativity, which are enabled by the Wave Glider USV. By joining our small but highly-motivated team, you will be helping us achieve our goals by participating in engineering design activities and working with cross-functional teams to deliver world-changing products. The successful candidate will bring significant design and product life-cycle experience to the role, will be motivated by our vision to change the world, and will be excited to work in a dynamic, small-company environment. This role reports directly to our Head of Engineering as part of our development team. This position is staffed out of our headquarters/design center located in Herndon, Virginia, but strong candidates will be considered for a hybrid work arrangement with regular travel required.
