Job Description

This Technical Program Manager III role at Google focuses on data analytics and operations within cloud networking. Responsibilities include developing data quality policies, extending network infrastructure data tools, managing data projects (including ETL procedures and workflows), collaborating with cross-functional teams on project prioritization and scheduling, and conducting geo-analysis using tools like ArcGIS. The ideal candidate will have experience with data analytics tools (BigQuery, R, Tableau, etc.), program management, and ideally certifications like RCDD or PMP. They will work to ensure Google's global network infrastructure data is accurate, complete, and accessible, contributing to efficient and automated processes.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
5+ years program management experience
Experience with data analytics tools (BigQuery, R, Tableau)
Managing operational and tactical data projects

Good to have:

RCDD or PMP certification
Experience with IBM Tririga, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, ArcGIS
Experience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL development
Knowledge in data networking architectures

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
Experience working with data analytics tools (such as BigQuery, R, etc.) and reporting platforms (such as Tableau, Microstrategy, Business Objects, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

Certification in Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience with one or more of the following applications: IBM Tririga, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, ArcGIS
Experience in data analytics, warehousing, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) development, data science or other Big Data applications.
Knowledge in data networking architectures and physical network components.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Develop governing policies on data quality and education partner teams to ensure that Google’s global network infrastructure data is accurate, complete and accessible.
Work with other teams to extend Google's existing network infrastructure data tools/applications, methods, standards and processes in support of business efficiency and automation programs.
Manage operational and tactical data projects and programs. These include assisting other teams with data management and translation, working with contractors on data entry management, developing ETL procedures and workflows.
Work with Technical/Product/Project leadership aligning product and cross-organizational projects priorities/schedules.
Use data managed by the larger team to conduct geo analysis using tools like ArcGIS.
