We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role:
As a Technical Product Manager - Payouts you will be responsible for ideating and owning the build and integration of new solutions and capabilities into our Payout products for our customers. You will have deep knowledge of global payout solutions and customer needs, paired with 3+ years of Product Management experience.

Meet our team:
The Payouts product team is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to help drive the Payouts product roadmap and drive channel partner strategy for payouts. In this role, you will work closely with business unit counterparts, product functional teams, engineering, finance and cross-functional stakeholders globally to establish requirements that deliver high-quality products. You will enable PayPal to build, refine and scale payout experiences to shape the future of payments!

Job Description:

Your day to day:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product goals and delivery phases with overall business objectives.

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing enhancement, with a focus on seamless integration into PayPal's business.

  • Own backlog creation and prioritization down to acceptance criteria level.

  • Work closely with development leads to prioritize features and improvements based on customer and market needs.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market demands and competitor activities within the payouts landscape.

  • Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.

  • Establish KPIs for our solutions and regularly assess product performance.

  • Identify areas for optimization and work with relevant teams to implement improvements, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in general technology product management

  • Deep understanding of new products/technologies in payments and banking

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker with ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks

  • Comfort using data to evaluate hypotheses and to communicate ideas

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments

  • Strong problem-solving abilities - you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters

The Canada national annual pay range for this role is

$80400 to $126500
