Job Description

As a Technical Lead, Security, Google Cloud, you'll guide engineers in developing new products, oversee project execution, and ensure adherence to Google's technical standards. You'll lead software architecture and design, creating reusable, robust, and well-documented products. You'll execute software development according to company procedures, understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements, and contribute to an exceptional user experience. This role requires 8+ years of software development experience, including expertise in data structures/algorithms, testing, launching software, and software design/architecture. Experience with C#, .NET Core, Python, or similar languages is essential, as is experience leading project teams and working in a matrixed organization. Preferred qualifications include experience with security technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR) and cloud computing platforms.

Must have:

8+ years software development experience
Data structures/algorithms expertise
Experience testing and launching software
Software design and architecture experience
C#, .NET Core, Python, or similar language proficiency
Technical leadership and project team management
Experience in matrixed organizations

Good to have:

Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR
Cloud computing platform experience
Excellent problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience with C#, .Net Core, Python, or other programming languages.
Experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, and EDR.
Experience with cloud computing platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Help and guide engineers to develop new products and oversee the successful execution of projects throughout the year while ensuring that the team meet Google's technical standards.
Lead software architecture and designs that provide reusable, robust, and well-documented products.
Execute software development in accordance with processes defined by the Company Control Procedures with guidance from the R&D Managers.
Understand business needs and what technical requirements are needed to achieve their objectives.
Become essential member of project and bring our User Experience to the next level.
