At Entrata, we seek a motivated Tax Senior Associate to join our dynamic Tax team.  This position will be remote.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Director of Tax and the accounting department, to support our tax compliance functions, ensure timely reporting, and improve our processes. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting and tax concepts, as well as solid data and analytics skills. Responsibilities

    • Partner with the Director of Tax and business leaders to manage tax compliance and address various tax needs.
    • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, managing outside advisors for accuracy and timeliness.
    • Lead communication with tax authorities and resolve tax-related inquiries.
    • Oversee tax provisions for financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance.
    • Stay updated on changes in federal, state, and international tax regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with sales and use tax laws, driving decisions based on sales tax nexus.
    • Develop and refine tax policies and strategies to optimize tax processes.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.
    • Identify and implement process improvements in tax reporting and compliance.
    • Provide tax-related insights and advice to internal teams and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • 2+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably in the tech sector or public accounting.
    • Strong understanding of federal, state, and international tax laws.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
