Systems Administrator

About the Role

One of the guiding principles of our studio is to strive for unconventional excellence, and our approach to IT is no exception. We are looking for an IT enthusiast to support the operations of our studio. You will be on the front line of IT support for our developers, finding solutions to minimize downtime and optimize the team's effectiveness. You'll work closely with the development team to ensure that no IT issue stands in the way of achieving their creative vision.

Responsibilities

• Quickly diagnose IT issues and identify solutions for developers.
• Document solutions to novel IT issues.
• Build PCs, install hardware, and track inventory
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Be responsive, articulate, and keep stakeholders informed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Mastery of a range of operating systems. Minimally Windows, Linux, and OSX.
• Functional experience with managed network hardware.
• Experience with open-source server software.
• Experience with virtualization, ideally Citrix.

Extra Credit

• 5+ years of experience in an information technology role.
• Experience with Active Directory or similar directory services.
• Scripting experience. Ideally PowerShell, Python, Perl, and/or Bash.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience with VCS. Perforce is a plus.
• Experience building PCs.  Recent experience preferred.
• Cisco certification.

The salary for this position is typically within the range specified below* per year. Please note that the actual base pay may vary based on factors such as your qualifications, skills, experience, and other relevant considerations. In addition to your salary, our comprehensive compensation package includes various perks, such as potential annual bonuses (though they are not guaranteed), health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and flexible time-off benefits.

*Range: $55,000. - $75,000. annually
