About The category strategist team aims to understanding the industry and its competitive environment as well as exploring opportunities and empowering industry operations. Responsibilities: -Deliver assortment, profitability, and sales/GMV targets by leading the business segment on the needs of the customer and identifying suitable opportunities for Category growth. -Have an in-depth knowledge of e-commerce ecosystem, value proposition and writing business proposals by identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs -Dissemble goals , formulate budget plans, and transforming goals into executable plans; - Formulate the go-to-market, seller/brand growth and merchandise strategy for local market; evaluate and evolve the strategy to meet business needs; - Build and monitor the operational index, and work closely with the data team to optimize the data products; - Monitor the merchant ecosystem; discover high-potential merchants and explosive new product opportunities; while being alert with risks; - Help business growth through product optimization, merchant governance and data analysis; - Implement and manage important merchant strategies;
Qualifications
