Senior Manager, Public Relations - Nordics

The Role

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven PR leader with a strong background in media and/or entertainment who shares a deep passion for storytelling. As part of our Nordics Marketing team, you will play a key role in shaping our PR strategy, leading a team of talented publicists - as well as taking on key initiatives and campaigns yourself. This role is based in Stockholm, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, Nordics.
 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide strategic leadership and big-picture thinking to elevate and promote Netflix’s earned presence in the Nordics.

• Lead, coach, and develop our team of publicists, to ensure they thrive and can deliver their best work.

• Development and execute comprehensive PR campaigns for a diverse set of audiences, driving positive conversations around our titles, creators and brand.

• Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Product, Social, Events, Comms and Content to deliver impactful campaigns.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, filmmakers, talent, talent representatives, and production partners.

• Manage relationships with Nordic PR agencies.

• Oversee PR budget management

About You:

• Proven track record of driving impactful PR strategies and managing high-performing teams.

• You possess in-depth knowledge of the Nordic- press and cultural landscape, as well as a good understanding of social media platforms and trends.

• Results-oriented and an effective communicator, both written and verbal, in English and at least one Nordic language.

• Ability to anticipate messaging needs, meet tight deadlines, and navigate fast-paced environments.

• You’re solutions-oriented and love problem-solving, with the confidence to pitch and build relationships with key stakeholders.

• You bring creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to take risks.

• Passion for entertainment and storytelling, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Experience from the entertainment industry and strong industry relationships are a plus.
